I'm eagerly awaiting Hickory Taven. It would be a nice dining spot for shoppers at McGowin and visitors to Hank Aaron who want something a little more elevated than bbq or burgers. I emailed their corporate office when it was first announced, but never received a reply.

One of the best feelings in my life was actually driving over there last October ... to turn in my box & modem and finally be out from under their clutch of dozens of years. When I pulled out of the lot I was almost smiling.

haha I am in the minority and have never had an issue with Comcast (other than getting the actual building). My internet is always as advertised and never lose signal. It's also the fastest in Mobile (save the ATT fiber thats starting to pop up...might check out that soon), so I'm not unhappy with them.
