And I don't think it's even possible to add a grocery store sized space unless one of the anchors pulls out.

A great location for a flagship Rouses would be the soon to be vacant Gander Mountain in Westwood.

I saw some work being done in the space next to the former Uncle Maddio's. Anyone have any idea what could possibly be going in there?

It seems they're at a standstill. No progress whatsoever on the Hickory Tavern that was announced almost a year ago...

I'm eagerly awaiting Hickory Taven. It would be a nice dining spot for shoppers at McGowin and visitors to Hank Aaron who want something a little more elevated than bbq or burgers. I emailed their corporate office when it was first announced, but never received a reply. https://www.thehickorytavern.com/

Maybe they're waiting for the hotel(s) to open. It looks like the Home2Suites is (finally) approaching completion...

Update: it appears that an Xfinity store is going in between Five Guys and the former Uncle Maddio's.

Hopefully it will be a great alternative to the service center on Springhill Avenue.

One of the best feelings in my life was actually driving over there last October ... to turn in my box & modem and finally be out from under their clutch of dozens of years. When I pulled out of the lot I was almost smiling.

haha I am in the minority and have never had an issue with Comcast (other than getting the actual building). My internet is always as advertised and never lose signal. It's also the fastest in Mobile (save the ATT fiber thats starting to pop up...might check out that soon), so I'm not unhappy with them.
