Great photos! Love the GM&O Building. Reminds me of my trip to Spain. Very cool that Mobile sister city is Malaga. I've always wanted to visit there. I've been to Seville. I also hope to visit Cadiz someday.

Thanks ! Mobile has a lot of Spanish revival/Mission Revival buildings and I will try to showcase them more. Mobile's other siater city is Havana Cuba and both cities have an identical statue of De'Iberville and both statues are directly facing each other. Mobile and Havanah have strong historicle ties.

Anybody have any pictures of Bellingrath Gardens in winter? I would love to see how they do the landscaping and plantings there in winter. Here everything looks dead in winter, but I bet it is more green there.

Yes, winter has its own appeal in that climate. It is not dead and dreary.

Go to their website and take a look at the Christmas photos. I visit then as often as possible, and also a great antique auto show on the lawn in the Spring.

They have good management and know how to make the most of this wonderful attraction.

Love, love love these photos!!!

I got the pleasure of seeing Mobile (and the surrounding area) while on vacation and was marveled by the architecture. I also noticed the canopy trees which I love. My first experience seeing them overarching roadways was in Tallahassee. I was mesmerized driving down all the canopy roads.

I'll try to post a few that I took soon.
