Exactly.

One can find many single family houses for sale in small towns for only $60,000! Easy to buy.

Hard to sell.

Fun fact: 3.2 beer actually translates to 4% ABV. Your typical domestic light beer is only 4.2% ABV so you’d never be able to tell the difference between the 3.2 variety and the “real thing.”

MN still holding out on the 3.2 beer thing? I wouldn't think anyone even makes it anymore.

Yup, it’s a protectionist law at this point to shield liquor stores from having to compete with convenience stores and large grocery conglomerates.

If you've been on C-D for any extended time, you need a beer. Makes sense to me.

haha so, but in truth, according to some stories on MPR, hunger is an issue in many towns across the state, even in the Metro.

Well I am no longer in Minnesota. I mentioned that Dollar General has beer. Where I am they sell real beer. I like Stone IPA which is sold at my local DG. It is 6.9% ABV. MN has retarded liquor laws.

It doesn’t take much effort to go to a nearby liquor store (almost every small town has one) and there you can buy anything you’d like. I don’t disagree that the law is antiquated and eventually needs to go, but since they started allowing Sunday liquor sales it has not really made life any more difficult for alcoholics.
