With all these states reporting increases in case numbers and infections, why hasn’t MN done what some other states like New York are doing requiring people coming in to quarantine for 14 days?

@warmer - That’s exactly what Minnesota(Twin Cities & suburbs) needs to do. While I agree it couldn’t be fool proof, it’s still something to discourage incoming travel from those states. MN has done a pretty good job thus far, we don’t need people coming here from those states spreading the virus. Especially now with the newest muted strain of the virus that’s MUCH more contagious and just as dangerous.

This is talking about the strain we have now in the US as opposed to the original strain from Wuhan, not some newer version of it. So it’s already here and, as the article states, it’s not more deadly.
