Where did I say it was more deadly?

The antibodies last around 2 months. It won’t be “all over” until there is a vaccine. And even then, people have to get vaccinated which will be a problem all it’s own.

Then stay home. Leave the rest of us to get on with our lives.

why do we need a vaccine for a virus that has over 99% survivability and also it mutates thus needing a new vaccine every year....oh wait

Default It's logical

It's logical that a virus would evolve to be more infectious. It's just Natural Selection. For the same reason it will tend to evolve to be less lethal. Dead hosts aren't useful to a virus.

Don’t listen to the racist dotard in chief.

Quote:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that through May 30, 14% of confirmed coronavirus cases led to hospitalizations — including 2% in intensive care units. But President Donald Trump falsely claimed “99%” of cases “are totally harmless.”

The president, according to his press secretary, was referring to the case fatality rate, and he claimed the amount of testing the U.S. has conducted showed this. The testing actually shows a case fatality rate of 4.5%.

Experts say that even though the virus is mutating, the protein stays the same. Meaning the vaccine’s in development will still work. Who knows if it mutates with the seasonal flu.

I just went shopping at Walmart and the grocery store, thanks.

Three deaths in Minnesota from covid yesterday. Three. Walz’s Minnesota model predicted 1,000 deaths a day in July. What an over-hyped crock of **** this was. Anyone who is still afraid of this has been completely brainwashed.

Congrats to Walz and the other 45 governors who had the foresight for the shut down (even Trump got it until his pull numbers dropped due to his crazy press conferences). As we are witnessing in real time, those that capitulated to President Trump pressure to reopen, are paying a heavy toll on their citizens. The white house task force was correct in their process and those who followed the process are in better shape than those who did not.

I think you are mistaken about who is being brainwashed. Even Perry has admitted his mistake for not taking Covid-19 more seriously.

I don’t know who Perry is and I don’t give a rip about the politics of this whole thing.

I don’t fault anyone for decisions made early on when little was known, however to continue on the same path in the face of new knowledge borders on criminal.

We learned that the elderly and infirm were particularly vulnerable to the virus, yet Walz ( like Cuomo) continued to send covid patients into nursing homes, needlessly killing hundreds of innocent elderly nursing home patients.

We also learned that young people and children were much less susceptible, yet we kept schools and daycare facilities closed, depriving children of an education, a burden that fell particularly hard on the poor and on special needs students.

And with three deaths, we continue to operate in a mostly closed down mode.

If that is what you offer congratulations for, there is really nothing for us to discuss in this topic.

Here are some sensible guidelines on reopening schools based on science rather than fear. Gov. Walz should adopt similar guidelines for Minnesota public schools, especially those in Greater Minnesota. https://www.rivm.nl/en/novel-coronav...n-and-covid-19

Ok, where did you get this from?

We learned? No, you were told. News about the virus changes daily/weekly. Young children weren’t being infected by the early strain(s). But they were still asymptomatic and carry the virus infecting teachers, and bringing the virus home with them to their parents and grandparents. Know what your talking about before writing.

The new GH strain going around is infecting children and young adults now.
