Interesting article in the Wall Street Journal today about Minnesota's awesome governor.

Has Covid+ patients sent to nursing homes and congregate housing and then wonders why the state has such a high death rate in those places. Much higher than even that of NY state.

Federal lawsuits against Emperor Walz's administration have been filed. We can't count on the Minnesota Supreme Court to release us from his grasp a la Wisconsin because his predecessor packed it with DFLers, of course. If it were up to me he'd be removed from office and jailed immediately for the irrevocable damage he's done to this state the past 3 months. Scores of lives and livelihoods have been lost because of that guy and he's still pompously strolling to his podium every couple weeks to insult us with his "slowly dial it back" speeches and supposedly gracious restriction amendments. Nothing he has done since the first stay at home order has made a lick of sense. He made the decision to join forces with the likes of Evers, Whitmer, Prtizker and Cuomo rather than doing his job in serving Minnesota and now he needs to be held responsible for that as all the states around us are open and resuming normalcy while we remain under the giant thumb from St. Paul.

I remember when we used to quarantine only the ill and allow everyone else to go about their business. That worked pretty well.

Do you? When was the last deadly global pandemic you've experienced of a virus humanity has never seen before and has zero immunity to?

Governor Muppet held another presser today just to reiterate it's still his kingdom and that he's thinking about throwing business owners another crumb soon. Mighty gracious of him.

Turning that dial..... Governor Muppet style.

We've seen many strains of influenza over the centuries. We know how influenza acts, and we have vaccines. SARS wasn't a pandemic. The fact that you think these are comparable to the current global health crisis is very revealing in how little informed a vast majority of the public is.

SARS-CoV-2 is brand new and it's killing people in ways that are baffling medical professionals. We still know very little about Covid-19 disease while it infects millions of people around the world.

Covid-19 is a strain of coronavirus as was SARS and MERS, just like there are strains of the influenza virus. It’s a new strain and we’ve seen many others over the years. You don’t seem to understand that while we have a vaccine for influenza, the reason you need a flu shot every year is because the vaccine is changed to meet what they feel may be the new strains that year. Sometimes, the vaccine is not effective because it doesn’t protect against the strain that develops that year.

Maybe you should educate yourself on the topic before you claim we are “ill informed” since you clearly don’t have a clue about this topic. Start here and follow the links. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coronavirus
