I searched "potholes" and saw there were a few other threads, the last one started back in 2015.

I thought last year was the worst I had ever seen it in the Twin Cities my whole life, but I think this year might be more of a mess.

When can we expect it to...look better? Will it get better? I've read an article recently that said they "hotmelt" a hole and it only last for three days?

I've got nicer wheel on my Summer driver and I can't even bring it out (for the foreseeable future??) because it's such a mess everywhere in the Metro, not just the Cities. Even in places like Stillwater the streets are egregious.

We lost one tire on Superior and 54th ave East so far. Fortunately, they were under warranty and it didn’t cost too much. The city of Duluth put down some granular type stuff because people were about to riot about east Superior street.

Probably part of the DFL agenda...let the streets deteriorate so much that you can't even operate your automobiles without sustaining damage every week. Force all of us onto their transit rackets.

I think you are on to something. The DFL conspired with the Month of March to produce a freeze-thaw cycle everyday that is tough on roads but reduces flooding.

The roads are crumbling to the ground. We're one of the top-5 highest taxed states in the Union and Wacky Walz wants the working man to suffer even more immensely - $5.00 more per every time you fill your tank.

Congratulations on your one-post streak of not looking like a partisan nut...so sorry it had to end here.

Probably part of the Republican agenda...let the streets deteriorate so much that mass transit can't even operate transit without sustaining damage every week. Force all of us into private automobiles.*

You probably think that's idiotic. You're right. But no more so than what you wrote.

*: For the terminally obtuse, I don't actually believe such nonsense.

Whackjob Walz's goal is to be even more completely insane than Governor Goofy, and at this rate he'll have no problem..
