I lived in Duluth's central hillside for 2 years. I never locked my front door. Never had any issues.

To those of you saying that North gets picked on in the media, it's only because they get the most action.

Duluth has been and is controlled by left wing idiots. The City is becoming more and more a disgusting place yo live. I’ve lived in Duluth for 30 yrs before moved outside the City limits. I will never move back and am selling off any property I own in Duluth. Leaders just want to tax the heck out of working people to give it to all the bums, criminals and drug addicts Duluth’s leaders have persuaded to come live here. These liberal leaders are extremely short sighted. They make decisions on feelings, not reason or common sense. Duluth has created a very alluring place for criminal elements. The Chief of Pllice is nothing more than a puppet for the insanity of the Mayor. Good luck Duluth. You will need it. Very sad.

I feel more safe walking downtown in St Paul at night than I would in Virginia MN. Ever drive down 2nd Ave?

"For every 100,000 people, there are 12.87 daily crimes that occur in Virginia. Virginia is safer than 8% of the cities in the United States. In Virginia you have a 1 in 22 chance of becoming a victim of any crime. The number of total year over year crimes in Virginia has decreased by 27%."

Only safer than 8% of the cities in the US?

I am a member of a NOMI page and there are shootings regularly there. I don't know that it's South Chicago dangerous, but it's not somewhere you should be walking around at night at 2am.

That's probably the right answer. I know Duluth averages a murder a month (or so), but thanks to the United Nations (and regressives), St. Cloud has been taken a big old dump on and will never be the same.
