8 days, average MN price down 28 cents. Lowest metro price now $3.89. September 2012 was last time for that price. Low was $2.89 on January 17 this year.

Not sure of your source, but gasbuddy.com says the lowest is $3.95 and the average is still over $4. It would make sense that there would be some decline from the initial spike as the summer switchover is completed, but it's not clear that we are in a downward trend yet.

I don't think our state taxes are below the national average. If they were we probably wouldn't be ranked at 18 and 19 for gas taxes. Even if they are below the average, it's not that much below considering our ranking.
