On a weekday, What is the traffic like on I-694 through downtown St.Paul at 3-4:00 AM? I'm trying to beat rush hour.

That sounds like a made up route.....are you taking I-694 (a BYPASS) or I-94 through downtown? Either way, at 3:00 to 4:00 a.m. you should have absolutely NO trouble with trafffic, congestion or whatnot. In fact, there are really few American cities I can think of that would have issues during that time.

Hope that is helpful...

Rush hour here is between 7:30 and 8:00 in the morning and 5:00-6:00 in the evening--except Friday where there is no traffic in the morning and rush hour starts at about 3:30.

There's virtually no traffic anywhere in the Twin Cities before 5 A.M., and usually anytime before 7 is very very light. May be somewhat different after a long weekend, I suppose. (And, yeah, I-694 won't take you through downtown anything.)

Well, I'm REALLY bad at directions. I meant I-94..

I'm embarrassed now.

The only traffic on I-94 near St Paul at that time is going the wrong direction on the freeway
