The Second Amendment is in place in case the politicians ignore the others.

And of course, law enforcement only arrives after a crime has been committed.
So if you don't wish to become a victim, it's truly your own responsibility.

I don't think they would be holding this view should looters begin targeting homes in their neighborhoods.
Even third world countries have police, you just don't see them as much.
