I believe your question is a serious one and will give it the respect that I think it deserves.

There is not likely to be a big difference in educational outcome in core subjects between the two schools at the elementary level. Wayzata has some of the best public schools in the area.

The biggest difference will be in the class size and the overall size of the school. Both will be significantly smaller at Breck. This will allow your child to get more individual attention, and to get to know their teachers and classmates better. You will also see more interaction between different age groups at Breck. They are all on one campus, and middle and upper school kids will have a role in mentoring the younger kids at Breck that you wouldn’t see at Wayzata.

Of course, the big advantage of a public school is the cost, but all the private schools offer some needs based assistance with tuition. As a private school family, we have found it worthwhile to pay tuition, but others may reasonably come to a different conclusion. For us, the opportunity to have our child attend one school all the way through high school was very appealing.

I also want to say while English is clearly not your first language, you did a fine job of clearly stating your question and, unlike some others here, I easily understood what you were looking for. I know how hard it can be to frame a question in another language.

Welcome to the US and to Minnesota. I hope you are very happy here.

Please feel free to send me a private message if you have any other questions. I will try to help.

I don't think there is any vast difference in educational quality between those two schools. Most families send there kids to public schools here including those with means.

If you have the money, definitely choose Blake.
