They have great food and good service. If your getting them up there then you are lucky to have them. If the owners political views offend you then you have the right to not buy the chicken.

The political views of Starbucks CEO offend me to no end...therefore I do not and never will patronize a Starbucks. However, they can open up a business anywhere they may choose. Doesn't mean I have to visit it, however. It works both ways.

Which views offend you if I may ask out of curiosity?

We have a newly opened Jihad Pizza Guys franchise here in town and while I deplore their political and social views in general, I'm able to separate their terrorist activities from their ability to make a scrumptous hand-tossed pizza. Their Hawaiian and Canadian bacon pizza with a side of cheese and garlic breadsticks are to die for!

I buy products based on their merit and don't factor in the politics of the owners or employees.

Rubbish.

Plenty of companies have changed their practices as a result of public protest. In fact, few companies have changed them for any other reason. Just this weekend, Whole Foods, facing a large-scale protest from its own employees, agreed not to penalize workers who took Thanksgiving off. Individual acts, like refusing to patronize a given business, accomplish nothing.

We need to remind our "Christian" fellow-citizens that this is not a theocracy. They don't get permission to spread hate or practice discrimination because their filthy, good-for-nothing religion says it's okay.

When a corporation decides to engage in political discourse any backlash they receive is fair game. Chick fil-a endorses hate mongering values that are outside of Minnesota's mainstream. I hope they fail.

Minneapolis Is a progressive cities overall and we don't need businesses like this building here. I was reading some reviews on yelp and there are some anti gay bigots that enjoy their food and will go there. However as a progressive city they should not be building franchises here.
True fascism right there. Keep it up.

Make no bones about it, you need to break a few eggs to make an omelet but the sky is not falling. All this crowing about limiting access to Minneapolis is just chicken-**** grandstanding. The day we let the PC squakers stick their beaks into economic vitality, running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, is like giving the fox the key to the hen-house. But I wouldn't go counting my chickens before they are hatched if I were you less you get caught with egg on your face.

The corporation did nothing. They were attacked for the positions taken by an organization supported by one of the owners. I disagree with your position but fully support your right to boycott them based on your own beliefs. Most people don't seem to agree though and their restaurants in Apple Valley and Bloomington are packed.
