I wouldn't do it, unless you do something like the Brightline which would be easy and quick. In my experience that is some of the worst traffic on I-95 meaning Broward and everything near its borders. Because you have so many people coming into Broward from both Miami-Dade county and Palm Beach County and also those traveling within Broward. Miami-Dade you just get people commuting from within Miami-Dade and some from Broward from the most part, and very little from Palm Beach County. Palm Beach County mostly people from within that county and Broward, but much less from Miami.

But Broward gets everyone.

There are surely some places in Broward that you could live that would be good and much closer.

Boca to Aventura would destroy your mental health daily, if not your physical health in a car wreck. I'd look close to Aventura. Sunny Isles Beach has a great K - 8charter school. There are also public magnet schools and private schools for high school if you are still in the area in 10 years.

I would second all of this.

Aventura is a great place for families as well - the park for residents is wonderful with lots of events. The school is great (Waterways Elementary - uniforms, affluent families, after school programs, etc.). The big 'circle' to walk/bike behind the mall. You're just over the bridge from the beach and you're not far from I-95 either. Obviously the shopping is excellent and you have a plethora of restaurants & grocery stores.

Not to mention tons of real estate options (high rises, townhomes, single families, and villas).

Driving from Boca 5 days a week would be miserable and you will lose at minimum, 10 hours a week of your life. not to mention fear of accidents and other craziness.
