Also don't forget most of them were riding on Donkeys less than a year ago and now they are driving in Miami...

I don't think that fat lady was riding any donkey back in her country. Maybe- most possibly- elephants.

Taking public transport is much more relaxing, the only downside of it is the waiting

I was on Biscayne in the northbound lanes the other night, when some guy drove past me going the opposite direction, lol. He was not in an emergency vehicle, and I didn't have time to figure out what possible motivation he had for driving for an extended period of time (or at all?) the wrong way down a divided street.

To be fair, I also happened upon a crew filming a fake fight scene for South Beach Towing while I was driving on Biscayne. Biscayne seems to be the place to drive to see weird stuff.

Oh, and orangejuicemiller...I have a Mustang. I wasn't criticizing people's decision to drive them; I was just wondering why there were so many here in Miami. I'm coming from a place where they weren't terribly prevalent, so it's strange to see so many on the road all the time.

Now that I'm in Miami, I guess I should probably lease a 3-series BMW.

This is about right. When I lived in Puerto Rico, the drivers were about the same nuts that live here. It seems that Biscayne is directly connected to the Baldorioty!!

I proposition that we rename Biscayne to Baldorioty North.

Yeah, hehehe , that's the most common car in the city - along with the A4 and the C-Class german ecoboxes (with all due respect, but I'm sorry, why buy something like that when you can buy a Chevy Caprice - the 2011/2012 one, not the old - a Taurus SHO and others like that, which are proper large executive saloons; even that new Fusion with maxed-out equipments and the 2.0 Ecoboost engine is much more cost-efficient. I guess status and image is number one in Miami for quite some people)
