I feel exactly the same
I wish these posts weren't so old because I feel the same loneliness and isolation in this crazy city where I don't fit in... I have no friends except for my cats since I am not into the party scene and I don't know what to do to make friends and socialize.

I think it will help you to know it's not you but this sociopathic city. Miami is a receding city of political, race cultural issues from the past still trying to get along, that's why there is a lot of covert hostility here.

Well everyone is entitled to be lonely when other people's fun is "SPLIFFsVILLE" there are so many people who cant go out with out getting one on, or getting groovy,I never touched anything other than liffey water,sure its a drug,but at least you can beat it when you go to work the next day,I was alone one time way back, I watched it all going on,I decided to tackle one drug not 2,but if you stay within what your mind tells you,in the end will make other friends.
