can't say about the adult theater's, I know they exist in S.FL but I really don't know where they are at. I'd say yeah lower end at this point in time & some crime...it's a shame cause I remember back in the 60's and 70's going with my grandmother and it was like the place to go for shopping. We felt safe & there were many nice stores there. Even really nice hotels that have been wiped out because they were like disintegrating. Downtown Miami was really like the 1 downtown at one point, nothing much was developed past the Grove/Gables/South Miami Areas... back then one would even speak of living on 60th ave and something and it was like living in the boon docks. Once upon a time everyone would go there, but now there are like many small downtown's depending what area you choose. Coconut Grove/South Miami has it's own, we have ours, and on & on....it's really a big spread out place and there is not really a one big ole' spot to go for shopping.

can't say about the adult theater's, I know they exist in S.FL but I really don't know where they are at. I'd say yeah lower end at this point in time & some crime...it's a shame cause I remember back in the 60's and 70's going with my grandmother and it was like the place to go for shopping. We felt safe & there were many nice stores there. Even really nice hotels that have been wiped out because they were like disintegrating. Downtown Miami was really like the 1 downtown at one point, nothing much was developed past the Grove/Gables/South Miami Areas... back then one would even speak of living on 60th ave and something and it was like living in the boon docks. Once upon a time everyone would go there, but now there are like many small downtown's depending what area you choose. Coconut Grove/South Miami has it's own, we have ours, and on & on....it's really a big spread out place and there is not really a one big ole' spot to go for shopping.
