Good advice all around. I've seen too many houses online that appear to need to be rewired, repiped, a new kitchen/bath, and the roof looks like it would leak. I'll run away from those. I'll hold out for the cosmetic fixer that needs some deferred maintenance. And then I'll put on a metal roof (thanks Submariner).

I really enjoyed reading about snow blowers, so if I ever live in a climate where it snows I'll be very well informed.

It has been many many years since i have had to shovel snow. Probably back in the mid 90's when i went home at Christmas to visit my mom in western PA
