The only real options should be New Orleans or Baton Rouge. Alexandria and Lafayette for that "center of the country" ideal that decided the location of DC.
Also, why the official language as Creole and Cajun French? Most of us speak English.

You still haven't specified whether I'll get to be one of the oligarchs. What kind of secession campaign are you running? Here I am, offering up my service, and I can't even get a response.

Well the first problem with this would be that the heads of this new Lwizyan system is that the heads of the oligarchy sanction are called Jeaux Pàs Devoire's, not Oligarchs and the second problem is that they are voted in to office directly from the population, not by representatives like in the states.

This is true, and this has been looked over so the idea of the U.S. not willingly allowing Lwizyan to follow through with secession is not something that this board hasn't gone over. We are much larger than you think a have a pretty stable support base and are trying to expand through the web. Problems such as the one you explain are not over looked. You should learn more about our ideals.

A set-up of Departments, Provinces, and Parishes have all been formulated, this project is not in its infancy. A few maps though not a lot have been created, I'll make sure to post a map of these quarters when they have been completed, but for now they are only mock-ups waiting to be finished.

These are the most excepted proposed borderlines under the CPB.
A Department, Province, and Parish map are coming soon.

Its due to historical preservation and the fact of it is that a good amount of the population consider themselves Louisiana Creole or Cajun, we are a people and we have a culture, our language is dying and to allow this would be unexceptionable, no matter how few people speak it today the Kreyol language was upheld and banned for a good 100 years by the Americans who came to our great region and tried to change us, true Louisianians. Today Louisiana does not have one official language but two English and French so to say that most of us speak English isnt a reason not to preserve our great culture here in Louisiana.
