What has happened to Long Beach ??

I used to love that town, they built even higher condos on the boardwalk and are ripping up the streets replacing gas lines. There is no place to park and the beach didn’t even open up yet. This once fun beach town has turned into mass traffic and confusion. I can’t drive down the side streets because many of them are closed for construction.

Nows the time to do the road work and upgrades before the busy season. It’s always chaos when this happens anywhere.

Just park a few blocks away from board walk and walk. It’s safe. You will make it.

parking is usually tough even blocks away . i would think with the loss of parking on the streets it is worse .

so nothing really compelling to make us go there other then it’s nice to walk on the boardwalk .

we can walk the path along the cross island parkway by the throgsneck bridge and marina and not even take the car out of the garage..

There IS NO PARKING a few blocks away. With all the construction work all the side streets are closed or partially closed.

the whole length of the boardwalk? Sounds like one of the biggest construction jobs in the history of Long Beach!

I do the same but I hate being dependent on the tide.
