If only LI squatters would occupy the apartments and houses of the worst LI slumlords. They deserve each other.
But lately it seems the most prominent squatters wind up in the apts/houses of fairly decent people.
Weirdly the slum lords can easily get these worthless squatters out very quickly. Then somehow people with money/decent people take years to get the same worthless squatters out. I see it here all the time. I hear others complain on how hard it is to get worthless renters out. My neighbor is a slum lord and when he wants someone out they are out and with in a few days.

Being a slum lord is the only way to be a landlord now in NY. The renters are 75% garbage, and you need an army of lawyers and pull at City Hall to get past the oppressive tenant-slurping laws.
