Congress doesn't come with much patronage and they'll only care enough to dump money and effort into someone they're building up for a bigger run in a local race down the line with more local benefit.

Big deal Biden and his drug addict son lie all the time and they will never be arrested or held accountable for their crimes.

How about Schiff? He could easily be brought up on perjury charges.

Or Eric Swalwell & other California Democrats who were consorting with a literal Chinese spy. Or the many Democrats and the FBI implicated in the Durham report, revealing that the entire "Russian Collusion" was a complete farce.

But no, conservatives are too stubborn and dumb to actually do anything about any of this. They'll hold hearings and nothing will come of it, and the left and their media cronies will just do it again. Santos lied about his background, and the right is ready to pillory their own. If he were a Democrat, Santos would be running a committee right now.

Finally... finally admit to hitching your wagon to the party of stupid... one day you will realize that they are ALL crooks, some are just better at it than others... you just chose the ones who eventually go down for hubris because they are idiots.

You've been screeching and whining for decades about crooked Democrats... the Durham report? Russian hoax? Chinese spies? Hunter's laptop? Maybe you should keep trying to find the blood drinking in the pizza place basement... or maybe you should investigate Seth Rich more? BENGHAZI!1!!ONE!11!! lol

Maybe now you'll realize the truth and stop drooling over "lock her up" chants at a political rally thinking that this time will be different... the crooked conservatives are simply too stupid to get out of their own way.

Start to think of the people, not the party... then things will change... otherwise keep beating your head against the wall... it's not like that is the definition of insanity.

Santos isn't in trouble for lying about his background. That certainly doesn't help matters, but his indictment is not about that. It is about unexplained campaign funds, collecting unemployment funds when being employed among a host of other issues. There was a bill that came up yesterday to vote to expel Santos from Congress, it was instead voted to be referred to the ethics committee on a party line vote so it can be sleepwalked through and he can remain in Congress.

Smart move on McCarthy's part. He should get the same treatment as the last expelled member Democrat Jim Trafficant who also refused to resign and was not removed until after he was convicted in criminal court of bribery and racketeering. Same with Dem Sen Bob Menendez who also refused to resign after a federal indictment and was not removed nor acquitted in court (mistrial) and is still a sitting senator.
