Hi we are a young couple looking for a Jewish community but not a religious community. We are wondering what Manhasset is like now? Thank you!

On the off chance this isn't a troll post, since this information is READILY available and easy to find for anyone who can afford Manhasset, it is mostly Christian.

You shouldn't have any issues in Manhasset. I worked over there for years and enjoyed the different cultures.

Not saying it applies here, but there is a huge difference in working someplace and actually living there. Despite the presence of a synagogue in Garden City there are not many Jewish families in GC. If, you don't mind being in an extreme minority, you will not be discriminated against, but you may feel left out especially at this time year.

The OP didn’t ask if they’d have issues. They didn’t really ask anything at all.

And yet when my kids went to school in GC and they had their little holiday shows the only December holiday mentioned by name was Hanukkah. Lol

It’s fine. Nice upper middle class area, but not really a Jewish area either. Only you can answer if that’s a big deal to you or not.

It's changed over the years. Bigger Jewish population. I really enjoyed my time working there. Met some amazing people from Iran and Israel and Europe. I'd live there OP.

Disagree I know the area very well, have relatives there etc. Yes there is a decent Asian population as well as the projects there, so it’s diverse in areas but the Jewish population is not significant. If a decent sized Jewish population is really important to the op there are far better choices.
