I see a lot of out of state plates, but wonder if they are simply visiting, however, the town is one of the 3rd fastest growning towns in the state....so?
Why are people from TN moving to Bowling Green? They are being priced out of TN especially the Nashville area. I suppose someone could sell their house in Nashville and buy a larger one in Bowling Green for considerably less, put money in the bank and then commute about an hour each way. Then there are also a lot of people who work from home and only need to go to Nashville to do their major shopping, eating out and find entertainment. That's just my take on it.

A little research shows the average price for a home in Nashville about $460,000. The average home price in Bowling Green was about $266,000. Prices will differ slightly depending on the source.

Yup! And some Indiana, too. But on the Bowling Green part, I'd imagine it's like Murray. Being a college town, you'll see plates from just about every state at one time or another. When I attended MSU in the mid 70s there was a car in the dorm parking lot with Alaska plates. And I knew a young lady on campus that drove her VW van down from Vermont for 4 years. Drove it home every Christmas and spring break.
