No one has commented on Kentucky's weather and the OP's desire for four seasons (unless I overlooked it).
Kentucky is definitely a four-season state, and its weather is pretty consistent statewide. Western Kentucky is a bit warmer and gets more tornadoes; eastern Kentucky (which is mountainous and therefore has a higher elevation and usually slightly cooler temperatures) has experienced many spring floods over the years. The rest of the state is not excluded from flooding, either - see Louisville's 1937 flood.
Otherwise, while our weather is generally pleasant everywhere, Kentucky also can have blizzards, droughts, heat waves, ice storms, rain, sleet, snow, hail, tornadoes, floods, and just about whatever else Mother Nature can throw our way.
Not all at the same time, of course, and Kentucky weather is also quite changeable. It was close to 80 in Lexington yesterday. A cold front is making its way in with rain today, and by midweek, lows may be in the upper 30s. Very typical for fall.
