Eastern Kentucky and Appalachia is one of the poorest areas of the country in dollars sense. But, It is also one of the most beautiful areas of the Country. I live in Lexington and have known many people who have moved here from there, and I can tell you that they were all some of the nicest and finest people that I have ever met.
Being poor of early goods and riches, does not mean one is poor of spirit and integrity.

Looks like the nearest Lutheran Church is near Somerset or Lexington. SE KY mostly Baptist, Pentecostal, Church of Christ, and Catholic.

I found the nearest one in Harrogate, TN. Not that bad a drive from Beverly.

My wife came up to me today with a stick with "+" on it!! A 2nd baby is on its way!! Because she's still nursing Sean we were caught off-guard.
