Posted these in another thread but thought they'd go well here.

Got a new ultra-wide angle lens and some new HDR software. Here are a couple of shots from the other night by the Jax Beach Pier:

1: Actually a 1-shot HDR, which sort of doesn't make sense but it is...

2: A 3-shot HDR...

Hoping to make it down to St. Augustine this weekend to do some shooting. Haven't been there in a couple of months.

Thanks for looking! You can find more at Farmer Fotography | Facebook.

Nice shots...

On the Main Street bridge, I have used 35mm and no post on it. It is a random shot that turned out well.

Sometimes those are the ones which surprise us when we shoot them.

I've recently been learning more about HDR and practicing it because I'm doing more real estate photography. It's almost a must for really good real estate photography. I've just found it's fun to play with HDR.

You also don't have to get the dramatic shots most often associated with HDR. With real estate shots, the shots look more natural, just exposed better throughout the shot.

If you enjoy shooting, I'm trying to get a little photo walk going somewhere in the area with another member here. Always fun to shoot with other photogs to see what they're shooting. Just PM me and let me know if you (or anyone else) would like to come along. Hoping to do it sometime in November.

That will be cool, any chance to bring out the 35mm camera.

Thanks. I love shooting during that time of day. I don't have to get up early to shoot...
