In fairness, how many move to Chicago in a day?

The article is the net position of the city.
So on net there are about 150 people a day that leave Chicago
Net=those moving in - those moving out.

Doubtful, that would be 56,000 people a year.

...with 1 year as a data point not including natural increase in population.

Our family settled in Western McHenry County as dairy farmers in 1899. I got out in 1999 2 months shy of when my great grandparents bought the homestead. I left with my wife and kids, my parents, the 2 grandparents that where left, an aunt and uncle and NEVER looked back. I have been back a total of 5 times in 19 years for funerals and such. More than a day or 2 and i'm reminded why i originally left only worse than what it was. The state will end up bankrupt shortly. No way around it. If Illinois could get rid of CHITcago and it voted in right to work i would consider living there again but unfortunately the big city and Unions have ruined the state.
