I just talked to six people in Pekin including the police department and City Hall. I was told 5 different locations. Meyers Lake is a new name. It is two lakes, Pekin Lake being one. It was formally known as Lake Arlan. Depending upon who you talk to, it might be between Auto Row and the river, or not far from the new high school. One would could believe a 29 acre lake can hide in a cit?y. However the location is in Tazewell County in North Pekin and Pekin according to City Hall.

Since the city could not agree, or find it, I called the Sheriff. They patrol North Pekin. Pekin Lake has no relationshio with Meyers as it is overflow on Rt 29 NE. OTOH Meyers is partially in North Pekin, and the balance is off 14th past Normandy - which is far removed from the high school on Parkway. Almeda IS in this area. Every search I looked at shows Meyers Lake in the county and not partially in the city. Technically the information is correct as both are in Tazewell County
