In SE Idaho the snow started the last weekend in September. We had a little bit of snow in June. That's 10 calendar months straight of atleast one day of snow.

Even thought the weather is sometimes frustrating, I personally like the cooler weather over the dry summer heat.

I always laugh when people from drier climates talk about flooding. I mean no offense by this but you don't have the foggiest idea about flooding until you live in the midwest

It snows in California...I get to enjoy 8 months of 90-120 degree weather and no rain. You would think the Sacramento Valley would be a desert...

I'm pretty sure we know what flooding is in Idaho. I've lived in the Midwest. Your flash floods are nothing compared to 80 billion gallons of water behind a dam that fails.
