You probably had more than 11" too. I don't remember the hot Easter the year before.

We got a skiff of snow on Mother's Day!

Expecting snow in Idaho is like expecting rain in Hawaii. Snow can fall in any month of the year and on any hour of the day here.

It has been freezing every night and it's already a 1/3 of the way through May. By the time it is OK to put out my flowers I got for my outdoor pots, the flowers will be finished blooming.

It's nice in my garage, though, lots of pretty flowers and a couple of nice trees that are waiting for the weather to warm up enough to put them outside.

Put a grow light on 'em and bring in a lawn chair. Heck, bring the grill in too and pretend its June!

I have quite a lot of other stuff to to to my yard before I plant any flowers this year. I have a jungle's worth of volunteer trees in my back yard I need to cut out first.

The weather has been so cold down here I haven't been able to do any pruning so far.

It's supposed to drop to 29º tonight in Idaho Falls. Two nights ago, the temps fell to 33º in town, but I'm sure it went below freezing in the surrounds.

Crazy cold for this time of year! The worst thing to me is the crop damage that will happen. A very bad thing in a year when food shortages are already present.

On the East Coast, they're having a serious heat wave. Again. Hotter than last year's record breaker.

Snow is in the forecast for the mountain tops this weekend. Cool and rainy in Boise and probably all of the valley locations in Idaho.

IDK what it’s like in CDA this weekend but down here in Worley on the lake it’s pretty quiet for Memorial Day weekend because of the weather. Lots of boats (including mine) still not in the water. Our jet skis are launched though.
Memorial Day is always iffy weather-wise.

It always rains on Labor Day!
The day before Labor Day, every convertible has its top down, and folks are sunning, but on Labor Day, the sweaters once on and the tops go up.
It never fails. Yesterday it was 85 here, and today its raining and 58.

If it makes anybody in the chilly reaches feel any better, we're having the coldest Memorial Day weekend in ages down here in my corner of SoCal. We call it May Gray, but this is particularly gray and gloomy. Good for yard work!
