I’m trying to figure out what my best option is. I’m in my early 20’s and looking at the different nursing programs but also trying to figure out what are all of the pros and cons of both places. I’m from Washington state!
Pocatello gets hot, Phoenix area gets REALLY hot. Pocatello is a small town of about 55K people; Phoenix is the sixth largest city in the USA. Big difference between the two.
However, if you can take the heat in the summer, and don't mind large cities; Phoenix is, in my opinion, a nice city.

Idaho will be similar to WA weather wise, with some differences in the mountains. I know a broad explanation, but wayyyy different than Phoenix. More laid back than Phoenix in most areas like Pocatello
Phoenix will be hotter and is a much bigger city. Lots to do, if you can handle Summer heat. One major advantage is close to the So California Coast where a LOT more can be done when you wish to.
As to nursing schools can't directly answer but what I see with almost any school of any kind is your efforts will determine how well you do. True some may make it easier, but in the end it is up to you as the student.

In the past week, in the low to mid 90s (believe one day it might have jumped to around 97). Normally, high 80s in the summer months of July/August. Usually, it is dry, which does help vs hot and humid.
