After we've made the mistake of moving to the North-East - for "being closer to family reasons" which did not work out as we expected, we are looking to move back to the West.

We lived in the South-West for 3 years, and enjoyed our stay there. However, if we must move again, we'd like to move out West.

With attempting to keep the OP as short:

Our main reasons for moving are the will of being closer to like minded people, we are conservative and religious in our views, and follow God's word. We'd like to raise our young ones in the same spirit.

We've given quite the though about homeschooling our kids, my wife is still contemplating whether she's ready to sign up for this task.
We have no doubt, that if we'll stay in the NE - we will have to home school our kids, or lose them to the extremity liberal schooling system here. And - that is our main motivation for moving, truly.

Just a small tip of how things are over here- Our oldest is no longer invited to some neighborhood activities because she did not complete the vaccination regiment. We cut it about 33% of the way never to finish, and did not vaccinate our second child at all.

We sincerely believe things here in the NE are going to get only worse. Being a religious and conservative person here is agreeing to live with your back to the well, always vastly outnumbered.

We are thinking about arriving at Coeur d'Alene first, and renting an apartment, then slowly finding our permanent place up north, or around that area.

1. Are schools in that area spewing the same "educational" content such as here ?- Early sex education, Pro gay marriage/ transgender content, "Don't have babies" type of "education" ?

2. If we choose not to home school, can we trust the schools in the area with providing our young ones with conservative education along with an acceptable amount of true academics (Math, Science, English) ?

I tried to keep it short, sorry. I guess that should do it for now.

Short story I was born in RI, and raised in The Peoples Republic of Massachusetts. Moved to Oregon to escape the liberal lunacy, only to find it again when 1/2 of Califorication moved into the valley and brought their thought pattern with them. We are now looking into relocating to Bonners Ferry. After seeing what our local school system was turning out we took the financial hit and decided to live on one income while my wife home schooled our daughter. She's now 31 and repairs computers for a local college, and has our values not those of the school district.
