I'd say the police need to be improved. Lately, they seem a bit touchy, aggressive, and more prone to violence than they need to be.

"I can't think that we could punish him any more than HPD can, but how stupid can an individual be," DeMarco said. "If it was John Q. Public, we would arrest then press the full charges that the law would allow."

It sounds like HPD doesn't have a great track record in punishing this guy - the rodeo should have pressed formal charges, like they would have done to a regular person.

How are police not regular people? Double standards for the loss.

The skyline is diverse. you can see at least 4 distinct eras in the skyline.

There is the really old turn of the century buildings near Market Square,
Then there are the Art Deco Buildings (Esperson Area)
Then there are the boring 50's-70's buildings.
Then there are the shiny new glass buildings from the last two generations.

This is the Esperson Building:

It is more NYesque than LAesque

You really need to visit Houston dude, so you can see the city from different angles

More security officers to reduce crime and roads.

Do we want to reduce roads - or have the security officers reduce them?

Should we just plant grass over the roads?

Sorry, reduce crimes.

If reduction of roads can lead to faster and/or shorter commute then so be it.

1. Plant trees alongside every freeway, frontage road and tollroad where feasible.
2. Build the light expansion. All of it. Elevate the rail over the following intersections: Kirby, San Felipe, and Westheimer.
3. Lower the park&ride fare and double the number of park&ride stations or whatever they are called.
