Hi, This is HParr, I started this Social Group a few years ago. I stay excited about how people have been helping people in this Group the whole time. It's wonderful! I have a question that I need help with now and I hoping to get some good suggestions. I have a friend that is around 50. She is possibly about to go through a divorce and is looking for a place where she can grow and thrive, somewhere that is safe. Maybe a condo, townhouse, apartment, studio, etc. It needs to have at least 2 bedrooms and two baths because she has a high school aged child. It needs to be in the Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach, Ponte Vedra, Ponte Vedra Beach, Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach area. Because she has been married for her entire adult life, hopefully there is a place that will be perfect for her where there are people that have gone through similar things or are at least around the same age. She is going to have to get back out there and get a job as well because she has been a stay at home mom at her husbands request for about the past 5-7 years, prior to that she lived in another state. Does anybody have any helpful suggestions?

Wondering if i could get suggestion on activities i could engage in. First, i notice you cannot take walks as there are no walkways except the downtown area. Also, not sure how the public transport system works. i stay in jersey village (77065) area. i haven't started driving because i am yet to have a license. i would appreciate as many responses as possible on how to cope here as well as meet/ make new friends. Many thanks

some large cities have managed to avoid the pollution that impacts many large urban areas. In some cases, this is because governments have made an effort to reduce dirty air by adopting eco-friendly ordinances; other cities are helped by their geography and climate. Regardless of the reasons,

regardless of where you move to or live in, know your politicians, not because of democrats or republicans. because the one you vote for should stand for eco-friendly ideas. Do they believe in coal, gas, oil or clean energy. because of the coal mines, and other factories, the houses in harrisburg are very cheap. and the counties are beautiful with scenery but because of the death tolls, sickness, and families relocating. looks can be deceiving. The other counties in Pa beautiful scenery, but the most hazardous air quality. Connecticuit was rated the 25th as far as hazardous air quality now it is rated 29th. again looks can be deceiving.
Do your politicians live in the same area they want to frack on. it doesn't matter where you move to, what matters are who you vote for, to maintain a clean air environment. Because a town is beautiful on the outside, doesn't mean it is clean inside. Look at the beautiful scenery in harrisburg, cumberland county etc. but is marked as the most hazardous cities to live in as far as air quality. google the best cities to live in for air quality. Than you can state what areas are indeed beautiful. alot of hazardous pollutants cannot be seen in the air, do your research on air quality, that will tell you alot about the politics in that area.
