We live in weston (10 years) and like it but feel there are some snobs as well and it has grown a lot.... we are thinking of moving to Parkland because the high school is smaller (1,440 vs 4000 students) and ranks higher than cypress and the city is smaller as well.

I think by now all the bad drywall is gone (been replaced).
But if you see darkened stainless steel appliances, that's a tell tale.
