Hi all we are muslims and moving to Florida we are looking for safe place to live. We have 3 children in elementary school. Hope we can find a place where Muslim ladies in hijab are welcomed. We are not sure where is the mosque near FLL area. The area should be near FLL airport

I cannot tell you where the best place would be near FLL airport, I have a Muslim friend who lives in Pembroke Pines and is very happy there. I would suggest you contact one or more of the mosques.

I can't remember where exactly it was but there is a big Mosque that also has an attached school around the area of Cooper City or Davie. I went there once for a nikka and was amazed by the facility. That might be an area to search.

There are women in hijab that shop at the grocery store Publix near the corner of flamingo road and Stirling road. I have also seen them walking along sw 118 Avenue in Flamingo Gardens neighborhood. This is close to the mosque someone already mentioned in cooper city, it's on Stirling road near Hiatus rd intersection. This is about 20 min from the Fort Lauderdale Airport.

Salaam. There is a good sized Muslim population here. Several mosques all over and plenty of halal options.

Why risk it? - nothing in the Holy Koran requires the wearing of a hijab. Its just a cultural thing. If it puts one at risk and there is no requirement to wear it, why do it?
People can chose to wear controversial t-shirts for cultural reasons also - and they will risk consequences for that. Its up to them.

Like others said i have no problem with immigrants or muslims coming to america.But please respect our culture we do not tolerate violent religious freaks. I know your religion is important but learn you are in america and we don't view women as some "slaves",everyone is equal here.Show respect to our culture,language and please don't show any hatred to americans aswell.
