Don't know what you expect but the homosexual population percentage is tiny in the first place in the US. I mean it's not a San Francisco, most people in South FL aren't homosexual so the lack of your preferred "environs" isn't something that should surprise anyone some would say.

Actually, south FL is a very gay friendly place that attracts many homosexuals.

Most people are not homosexuals in all parts of the world. They are a minority everywhere.

Not sure where you get your facts but there is a huge gay population in S. Florida, specifically Miami-Dade and Broward.

20 million (roughly the population of NY or FL) isn't "tiny". https://thehill.com/changing-america...its-20-million

I haven't found any respected, objective source that there are millions of homosexuals in South Florida alone, sorry.

The percentages in toto to population are very small. I mean, it's not 30% of the the population or 40% which would indeed be your description of "HUGE", yes indeedy, that would be H-U-G-E....otherwise stating such nonsense is total hyperbole, and fraught with inaccuracy, thus misleading as heck.

Carry on.

Additionally, please know that the current population of the United States of America is 334,000,000.

This doesn't count undocumented ergo illegal immigrants now of about 12,000,000, so the imputed actual US population is more than likely 360,000,000.

The current population of The State of Florida now tops 22,000,000.

At a basic calculation of a HUGE assumption that there are 20% homosexuals in Florida's population that would mean there are about 4,400,000 homosexual men permanent residents and most of them which have to live in South Florida.

Many experts would perhaps assert that kind of assumption may be a "stretch" or even faulty.
4 million?

Again, to date, I have not seen a reliable, objective source that documents that.

No matter.

Nobody said there are “millions” of homosexuals in Florida. But compared to other places, S. Florida (specifically greater Fort Lauderdale) has a higher concentration of people in that community vs most areas in the country. This is a pretty commonly known thing and is hardly something new.

For example a place like Jupiter Florida wouldn't work for me, but a place like WPB, which is not a mecca for gay guys, but still has a gay population works well enough for me.
Oakland Park, Lake Ridge, Poinsetta Heights, and Victoria Park are all gayborhoods. A lot of gays, straights, young, old, families, singles, professionals, service industry. It's everybody.

I live in Hollywood about 4 blocks from downtown and there are plenty of gay people. Everyone that works in the restaurant industry is gay or gay-friendly. There are LGBQT+ events all the time, but I don't think Hollywood actually has a "gay bar." As for the Latin vibe, it's alive and well here. You'd like it I think.

Thanks, I’m going to start hanging in Hollywood to see now I like it. I’ve only driven through it but nothing more.
