Hello, I noticed there is a Whole Foods in Coral Springs, but no where else in the area. Any suggestions regarding other organic or gourmet stores, ie. Trader Joes, Sprouts, etc in Parkland or Weston? Thanks so much...

Coral Springs is close to Parkland. There is a Whole Foods in Plantation. That's not that far from Weston.

Whole Foods is really it. There are no Trader Joe's in the state of Florida.

Incorrect.

Boca Raton has: 4th Generation Organic Market, Publix Greenwise, Fresh Market, and Whole Foods.

Publix has an increasing amount of organic products, especially the newer ones in the more upscale areas such as Coral Springs and Parkland. I live in Plantation and there is both a WholeFoods and a Publix next to it. I find most of the organic products I want at Publix, although I shop at Whole Foods for a few items that Publix does not carry.

I may have been incorrect about the other options available, since my time in South Florida was in Eastern Broward, but there still is not a Trader Joe's in the State of Florida. Since TJ is a much more inexpensive option than WF, I wanted to re-clarify this point so the OP was not confused.

Thanks.

This is very true. Publix has gotten better about carrying more natural and organic products. I still do a fair share of shopping at WF though because they have more sales on natural and organic items than Publix. I also live near the WF in Plantation.

Thanks for all of your comments about organic grocery shopping. My husband and I are hoping to hear about our transfer this month. We look forward to living in sunny Florida. We're focusing on Parkland or Coral Springs...
