Yup, Whole Foods (Pines Blvd just west of 75) anticipates opening in March.

I find Tunies to be more affordable than wholefoods...but not as much variety. You can also look into joining an organic buying club. Check out Annie's Organic Produce Buying Club of South Florida Annies Buying Club. They have different pick up areas all over south florida. The price comes out to about 20% cheaper than at the grocery stores and the quality is good. There's the fresh market in coral springs but a lot of it is not organic...probably more "gourmet."

You can drive to Naples on the west coast..just short drive across alligator alley. They are opening a Trader Joes there soon I hear. That will surely bring them to Weston area soon I hope. Long drive..really only kidding LOL. When we lived there we shopped at Whole Foods in Plantation on University. Pretty east drive and not too far. For the most part I drove there in the mid-afternoons at like 1pm or so and never...surprisingly ever hit traffic either way. Only took about 10 minutes there and about same back.

I just saw this because I had just replied to another post with a similar question, and I"ll tell you what I told them... I joined an organic buying club: Endlessly Organic. I was picking up my fruit and vegetables in Weston, but I just moved, but I loved it!! They choose all of the stuff for you and you just pick it up in a box with an ice pack - so easy!
