No, it's not just a lavender color from it being the taro flavor. It's the actual floral lavender flavor. I just had to try their Lavender Crème Frappuccino® blended beverage yesterday and it's unique & I like it, but I do like an actual taro smoothie better (which also is a lavender-colored drink).

Ugh! I don't like Starbucks, and loathe lavender.
Hard pass for me.

I'm not an actual coffee drinker myself either. The ONLY drink I get from them from time to time is their blended green tea frappuccino.

I don't like the taste of culinary lavender, but a lot f folks do and Starbucks wouldn't be selling it if they could not sell a lot of it.

There is too much lavender in nice soaps and eau de toilette so lavender tastes like soap to me.

Yes, it was nice to try, but I still prefer taro & match green tea flavors. I don't even care for the lavender scent itself.

So is it taro flavored, or lavender flavored? Or both?

Sorry if was confusing. No taro at all. It's that floral lavender flavor all the way. Glad I tried it & I might get it every once in a while, but not every time. It might be for a limited time anyway for spring.

I like Starbucks, but don't go very often anymore (trying to limit sugar intake, and it's tough to get anything other than plain drip). I do love lavender, when done well. It can easily go too floral if overdone.
