Are you going out, or eating in? DH is making surf and turf for us....goin to get a nice desert form Publix. I think the food will be better at home...and much much cheaper. Enjoy, whatever you do.
My husband had a gift card to a butcher shop so I imagine he will get the special of 2 filets and 2 lobster tails which are on sale today. I will poach the lobsters in butter and he will grill the filets.

I have no idea. I do the cooking, and being at work today, with my wife volunteering at a school, we haven't discussed dinner. After being married for 49+ years Valentine's Day is just not a big deal, though I did send flowers.
We will have egg in Dijon mustard sauce with boiled potatoes, garnished with curly parsley and to drink a glass of local Ontario white wine. For dessert meringue hearts with strawberry sauce.Later by the fireplace a slice of chocolate rum cake with a glass of Glühwein to celebrate my Valentine baby/sons birthday.
My spouse wants Chinese takeout from our favorite Chinese place, so that’s what it will be. We bought some tiramisu for dessert, also. Tiramisu & Chinese food with some Cabernet Sauvignon.

We don`t have desert often, but when we do, it is tiramisu from Publix.
It's a bummer because it's Valentine's Day on Ash Wednesday! No dessert and a light menu .
Boohoo!
