Greetings all.

Apologies if this has been covered, but I wondered if people would like to share their experiences with cooking with air fryers.

We acquired one a couple of days ago, and have been very impressed with it. We have cooked chicken with onions and peppers with cumin, and just now I had lamb cutlets with Dauphinoise potato and baby tomatoes. Yum.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Anything that can be cooked in the oven or the pan, can go in the air fryer. This week, I made zucchini. I had a green & a yellow zuke, so I sliced them ( green lengthwise & yellow in medallions, ) tossed them in a mix of olive oil, garlic, olive paste, s & p, & put them in the airfryer, topped with crumbs & Parm. Delicious. I also have done pork chop, chicken, & salmon burgers in my AF.

Corn bread in cast iron skillet does nicely. Breaded chicken is a regular air fryer candidate with us.

Thanks for the comments. We have made note that very little oil is required, and not to overfill the containers, so that air can flow. So far so good.

We mainly use it for making wings, crispy tofu or reheating things like pizza, and roasting veggies.

I had been using a foil pan, the ones that the quiche comes in. I have now bought some air fryer liners, that are paper, I will see if it makes things crisper. I love the air fryer for fish too. Or for things like egg rolls, they come out so nice & crunchy.

Meatloaf with vegetables/potatoes in the baking dish turns out nicely.
Cookies did not so great for me. Mini pecan pies need constant attention and co do mini apple pies. I use 1 stick butter, 1 full fat cream cheese, 2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder for 18 minishells and freeze them in the metal forms. Preheat oven, add filling. Stand guard!!!
Hamburgers, sausages and brats.
I prefer not to use it for meat without coating or skin on such as chicken.

This isn't going to make your cardiologist happy, but an air fryer does a spectacular job of reheating a Bloomin' Onion from Outback. I have no interest in finishing one at Outback, so I'll have a few bites and bring the rest home.
