Today's Lunch - Part 5

I had El Pollo Loco chicken. I did get one chicken tamale to try, I think it would taste better with pork, but this is a chicken place.

I had a left over chicken cutlet rolled up in a couple lettuce leaves with a tiny bit of mayo. I'm still hungry. Guess I need to peel a carrot for a snack.

^^^ I had 2 pieces of El Pollo chicken. I got a special with a coupon that included a salad, 2 sides, 2 tortillas and churros. Raspberry iced tea to drink.

Watching NFL today, ordering pizza, sub sandwiches, salad and wings for the group.

Nothing beats a good bacon sandwich. And the one thing about frying up the bacon is that great smell in the kitchen the rest of the day.

I went to my local Hawaiian fast food place and picked up a chicken katsu plate with macaroni salad and steamed rice.

I went to our new Thai restaurant, have not visited to once since I retired, which is about 3 years ago. My husband and I had Chicken Pad Thai, beef salad, Beef Green Curry, Fried Pineapple Thai rice with combinations of meat, and a sampler plate of chicken satay, shrimp tempura, vegetarian egg roll, and some sort of fried squid. It’s delicious, particularly the pineapple fried rice, had lots of turmeric or curry powder. Needless to say, we didn’t finish them all, bought some pad Thai home.
