It's 78 and low humidity here right now, it's beautiful! Where in Florida will it be 90 this week? My weather app shows 86 as the highest for only one day this week, 82 and 84 most days. Zero chance of rain all days, 20% on Saturday.

We don't have squirrels near me that I have seen, but I was turning left onto US1 from 136th St the other day and there was a big bright green lizard about 18 inches long in the median. What was this and where did it come from!!???!!

get out.....

”some”....so what.....”some” people have always moved out of Florida

”U.S. Census Bureau numbers show between the years 2021 and 2022 that early 739,000 people moved to Florida and nearly 490,000 residents moved out”....net gain of ~1/4 million

same time frame.....”301,000 people moved to New York.....545,498 people moved out of New York”....a net loss of ~1/4 million......”Top destinations included Florida — the most popular choice”

-----
here's what "some" means....

population South Carolina 2019.........515,7702
population South Carolina 2022.........528,2634

South Carolina population increased "some" in 4 years......~ 125,000.....if they all moved from Florida no one would even miss them

...in that same time frame Florida's population increased ~ 3/4 million

====

and just for kicks and giggles.......Georgia's population is decreasing and has been decreasing since 1988

Re the bolded re South Carolina, commas are missing, and the commas that are there are in the wrong places.

You should live where i am if ya want hot temps like that and dew points that would make any other place blush. If i never saw another 80+ again it would be too soon.

I don't guess jess. I have kept records since 1978 and ever since 1990 it has been up and up and by 2011 it really jumped up. Look at the below vs above normal temps for any place in FL and that will tell ya.

Out past 70 years it will be year round 90's.

I never see tree rats or any kind of wild life in my hood other than dillos that dig under the house. When i was in Tampa i had a $1300 PCP Pellet gun with a moderator so no one could hear me shoot and i shot many tree rats. This gun was so good you could bench it and put 5 shots in the same hole. I could even take out real rats on a power line 75 yards away.
