I’m looking for suggestions on a remarkable dining experience in Central Florida (St.Pete - Orlando). Whether it’s Medieval Times, a dinner cruise, one of the Michelin Star places, or something else. Any ideas?

I ask because I’m sure there’s more, particularly in Orlando, I’m not thinking of.

The California Grille atop the Contemporary is an experience, and especially so for the few omakase seats. Pretty cool to stop mid-meal and walk out onto the roof deck to watch the fireworks.

Thanks, that’s exactly the kind of suggestion I wanted. I’ve never heard of it and it looks great!

Victoria and Alberts remains my favorite dining experience in Florida as a whole. I went there once a few years ago. Waiting for the right time with the right person to go back.

I probably would have picked this one, but they're closed for renovations currently.

Bern’s in Tampa. https://bernssteakhouse.com/

You can get a tour, see the wine cellar, and make sure to go upstairs for dessert.

Orlando was named the best food city by wallethub recently. I wouldn't go that far, but as a resident here, there has been a wave of really good restaurants recently.

Are you looking for ambience or taste? What cuisine are you looking for? What price range do you want to spend (please don't say anything as $10-20 will be different from $50-100)?

I made reservations to Kres for next Friday.
Was looking for something downtown so that we can walk around after a nice romantic dinner.
Seems promising so far for what it is.
I’ll provide an update after I go.
Looks like a ~$300 outing for two after drinks and all.
My favorite steakhouses in FL right now are Berns in Tampa and Edge in Miami. We shall see how this compares.
