Accent is an enormous marker of culture, especially in the South. Listen to the way by which Orlando mayor, Buddy Dyer, and Tallahassee mayor, John Dailey, speak relative to the way by which Ron DeSantis speaks. There is a noticeable difference, in my opinion, with the former two sounding much more Southern.

Same oven, difference recipe.
