I love the old-Florida "pre-Disney" attractions so many miss out on and should see/support in my opinion. My favorites are:

Lion Country Safari

Hi kyle:

Is it best to get "season tickets" IF they exist?

Any deals for Florida Residents and maybe large groups?

Thanks,
Angela

I only wish Cypress Gardens was still in existence to recommend, it was one of my favorite places to visit, especially over the winter months.
Hello Sunshine:

An awesome list!!!

Lol, I think I will skip the alligators.

Interesting, never heard of Ona. Need to check it out.

When did Cypress Gardens go out of biz and why?

Thanks,
Angela

Universal / Disney World and also a nature experience, my favorite being Rock Springs, which can be accessed from King’s Landing. You can rent kayaks there or bring your own paddleboard, etc or via Kelly Park if you prefer tubing or swimming only.

The beaches at Panama City Beach. St. ANdrews State Park is a great location. Plenty of parking. A somewhat protected jetty area. Fishing piers on both the gulf and lagoon sides. Alligator ponds. Scenic views. Shuttles over to Shell Island. Baby powder soft white sand beaches.

I think the Miami Seaquarium and Lion Country Safari have seasonal/yearly passes which are meant as discounts for state residents. I'm really not sure of the others.
