That depends... If he's from Montreal, he'll be fine. Montreal is perhaps second only to NYC when it comes to erratic, lunatic, angry, aggressive driving in NA.

The rest of Quebec is VERY easy to drive through though.

I would think a "Class A" CDL driver with strong resume would be able to command $60,000+ at Publix. You're home every night too because I never see any Publix sleeper cabs (unless they put the drivers up in hotels).

Private fleets tend (generally speaking not a blankey statement) to pay better than trucking companies, or logistics providers, and its typically a better situation all the way around. Publix is an employee-owned company, so that would be a great benefit. I think they are all no touch loads too unlike a food service driver for Cheney Bros. for instance.

I admit to stopping at Walmart in the morning- anyway, there’s a sign that they’re looking for drivers. This in Palm Beach county.That’s all I’ve got! Over 87k plus bonuses it looks like. And apparently all you do is drive. No loading.
