I was recently talking with a female friend of mine and topic came up about dressing up. She immediately commented. “I don’t mind anything but the pantyhose!”. I asked her why, and she quickly replied, “Cause there so damn uncomfortable! “ Wanna know if your lady is wearing hose because she finds them comfy or irritable? Here is a fairly accurate level meter on how comfortable a woman is wearing pantyhose. As you see in the media and around the streets, pantyhose wearing by women are at an all time low. Just because you see a woman in them that does not mean she likes to wear them. This scale can help you determine with careful observation how much she is really into wearing pantyhose.
Let’s start with Level 0 – the NON wearer. This woman would not wear pantyhose even if there was a funeral, wedding, opera, dance, or a contest to see who can wear the most nylon for 1 million dollars! This woman is the more perplex out of all the 5 levels because you do see her occasionally wearing nylon. But it’s usually in the tights variety and when it’s REALLY cold or the trend calls for hosiery. I call the exception to the rule the Seasonal effect or the Lemming effect. Other than these 2 occasions or a very convincing argument by you on her wearing them, you will rarely see this woman in hose.
Now let’s meet the Level 1 hose wearer. This woman will wear hose (without your help) for either work related occasions or special events, being church, weddings, funerals, special events, or fancy dates. This could get expensive if you have to keep taking her to fancy places for her to wear pantyhose. This woman will also go barelegged frequently so watch out between this level and level 0. I also introduce the conditional level here. The conditional level is when your influence got her to this level. In other words, if it was not for your love of her in pantyhose (or any woman truth may be told), then she would not be wearing them. That’s why when you meet and befriend a level 0, chances are the highest level she will ever get to is a conditional level 1. Once you are out of the picture, its back to bare legs for her!
Level 2 gets a little more interesting. This woman will wear pantyhose with most or all casual attire. This means she will wear hose with jeans, sweatpants, and owns a lot of pairs of hose. She is much easier to convince to wear a pair for you because she is already somewhat comfortable wearing them anyway. With your influence, a level 2 can conditionally rise to a level 3 (which I will explain later), and not give you the evil eye for asking her to wear them for you on a Saturday or just to hang out.
Level 3 women make pantyhose loving men very happy. Levels 3’s wear pantyhose most of the time, even in warm environments or in the summer. Climate is not a factor with her, as her comfort in wearing pantyhose surpasses those whines and moans of the previous levels. This woman usually though, has a medical condition that helps with that pantyhose wearing frequency and usually is over the age of 40. Nonetheless, if this woman is not around you she would still be wearing pantyhose. And better yet, when you ARE around she can conditionally rise to a level 4…or even a level 5! Joy!
Level 4 women are very rare but very satisfying to hose lovers. Level 4 women usually can sleep in her pantyhose and even forget she has them on! They feel like a second skin to her and wear them anytime she is not around water. These women treat pantyhose in the same class as panties and a bra…staple attire. If fact, these are the women who would wear multiple pairs of hose (thigh highs or socks over her pantyhose) more often than not. If you are a woman reading this and are thinking these women are nuts, then you obviously are looking a levels you have never been a part of before. There is not much influence or conditionally you need on the woman on this level, because she loved wearing pantyhose long before you even showed up, so just enjoy the ride!
Level 5 women are very rare, like a unicorn or the Detroit Lions with a winning record…this women will even has sex wearing pantyhose! The holy grail of pantyhose wearers, this woman will wear hose 24/7 and usually profits handsomely from it. If you look on the internet you will find many sites dedicated to women who wear hose for sexual pleasure. Although you will have to pay to see her pray you will ever meet one, this woman could satisfy even the stringent of pantyhose lovers.
Ladies, grade yourself on your comfort level, and please be honest…if you hate them, say you hate them! If you are ok with them, let us know too! Now most men will meet mostly level 1’s and 0’s and occasionally a level 2. It’s up to you and your desires on how high you can get your new nylon friend to go on the scale. I love tights, pantyhose, thighhighs, dressing womanly and feeling sexy ... on Friday and/or weekends, I even will wear my stilettos with a dress to happy hours.
I don't get it. Women are complaining how uncomfortable panty hose are and they wear 6" high stilettos?? Come on, these shoes are torture chambers and everyone knows it. I personally think there is nothing that looks more unfinished than a very dressy black dress with evening heels and bare legs. This looks even more weird in the middle of winter. Some women resort to orange spray tans, which in my opinion, look even worse. Tights look good, but not with dressy clothes. I am very happy that fashion has taken a turn this season and a more refined, put together look is now in. I am so sick of the cheap, slutty look that has been around for way too long. Natural tans looks great, but are so dangerous and age the skin very badly. I don't understand how pantyhose got such a bad rap unless it is because women were wearing the cheap, thick ones in the egg. Higher priced pantyhose that are very sheer and in the right color can look very polished and sexy. I wear them when I am dressed up and feel very fashionable and feminine in them.

I actually have a lot of heels that aren't uncomfortable, and heels are easier to adjust if you are uncomfortable than a pair of hose. I don't think it is the bare legs that makes an outfit look slutty or cheap. Most likely the rest of the ensemble has something to do with it. I think a lady can look very classy dressed up with bare legs, if she truly is a lady. I agree with you on the fake tanning. That can definitely cheapen a look. I'm not a big fan of nude hose. To me it usually looks just as fake as the spray on tans.

I don't wear pantyhose. I wear thigh high stay ups ... when I have to wear nylons. I'll even go with a garter belt and stockings before pantyhose.
